The founder of All Seasons Pest Solutions, Harry Ramos, was working as a plant manager for a major food manufacturer in New York City where he lived. Dissatisfied with the toxic solutions offered by the plant’s pest control vendor, Harry devoted himself to the study of insect and pest control. After obtaining his state certification as a licensed pest control operator in 1984, he worked with several large pest control companies throughout the tri-state area. While working at Abalon Exterminating, as one the highest paid technicians among 37 service professionals, it is where Harry formed an alliance with Dr. Austin Frishman, a world-renowned entomologist. “Doc” as he is known in the industry, Dr. Frishman is the author of nine published books on insect and pest management who, to this day, remains an adviser to Harry and All Seasons Pest Solutions.
Harry was concerned about the toxic effects of pest control products from the beginning, so he searched for non-toxic, healthy alternatives. He became involved with IPM (Integrated Pest Management) techniques for diagnosing and treating pest problems and made sure that each All Seasons technician followed the green IPM system to the letter.
